Hi, folks...
Anyone out there ever tried to convert the rear mount plate (the one that
bolts onto the chassis with four bolts from a standard late 1500 tranny to
an OD one? It looks like, from the handy TRF catalog, that the plates are
completely different, even with the non-od plate bent upwards from the top
of chassis rail and the OD one with an indentation where the mount
attaches...AND the distance from the mounting holes looks completely
different too. So...anyone made their own plate? Does the rear mount have
to be lower than the chassis rails? Help?
