Hello all.

Drove the Spit to work today. I don't drive it to work very
often as I have a long commute and there are too many SUVs
and trucks on the road. Plus with the historic plates, the
state tends to frown on using it as a daily driver. I drove
it in today to show it in an employee car show.

Going in this morning was uneventful, but the drive home was
nasty. Spent about 30 minutes in mostly stop and little go
traffic waiting for an accident to clear. The Grape kept it's
cool though, never getting above midrange on the temp gage
and didn't drop below 20 psi on the oil. I should mention
that the temperature this afternoon hit about 93 degrees!

We didn't win anything in the show, but a TR6 did win the
import class. RHD '6, with petrol injection. He has owned
it for 22 years, and brought it with him when he transfered
here seven years ago. He said it came over in pieces and he
restored and reassembled it here.
