Sure, Chris. The oil pressure light should come on when you first turn the
key to the position right before it fires the solenoid. It should extinguish
after the engine has run for a couple of seconds. If you don't see the light
when you turn the key one click clockwise (your alternator light should be
glowing also) then you have a bad bulb, more than likely.
No need to tear apart the dash. Just lay on your back across the seat and
footwell, see where the bulb holder inserts into your speedo, pull it out and
have a look!
