1500 Spit panel gap

Tom,
in order to adjust the ill fitting doors to a proper alignment, the sills
have to come out and be replaced.
This is not an easy job or a cheap one, if done right. It's a matter of
fact, this it's a very complicated and time consuming job.  In automotive
repairs, you get what you pay for.
The price mentioned for this will surely be just a quick fixer upper, and
not last.
If the car was poorly repaired, as it seems to be,  one has to wonder how
the rest of the car was done.
For instance, what are the conditions of the floor panels, inner sills,
lower quarter panels in front and behind the wheel, possible typical
structural flaws?
The price of L 3650 does not sound like a bargain to us, considering the
condition you describe.
