Jeff,
The hood on my '78 went behind and then tucked under the metal bar, secured
to the underneath of the bar by glue and also secured to the bar by the
poppers (riveted on) for the tonneau. I just pulled the old one off, and am
eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new one - meanwhile I just have the
tonneau for protection...
