Well it has been about two years since the dilapidated 1968 Spitfire Mk. III
rolled into my driveway in boxes. And Today i finally hooked up the
battery, generator, and started motor and believe it or not...the engine
turned!!! Granted i don't have the fuel line hooked up yet and there are no
fluids in it yet, but they are being put in tonight.

So are there any words of advice in starting for the first time? I am sure
this has been covered billions of times by y'all and i apologize, but i want
to do this correctly. I am going to make sure that the Engine oil gets on
the rocker assembly and i will turn the engine a few times to make sure that
everything is coated.
Is there a secret to putting in brake and clutch fluid? what about coolant?
How much fluid do the brakes need? what about clutch?

Thank you all for your help. I could not have come this far without all of
you.

Dave
'68 Spit MkIII
