*My* Horn went the other day. I actually have wires to all four
terminals on my '65 MkII -ve earth (not sure if made that way or
converted). The terminals are in roughly the following positions (my
own numbering scheme):

Connections are:
1: Thin Purple/Black
2: Thin Black - to Battery +ve terminal (on -ve earth car)
3: Thick Purple/Yellow
4: Thick Purple
This differs from what appears in the Haynes manual, which I reported
here earlier. Hope that helps shed a little light.
