As I seem to have had about 5 people already asking me why Im selling my
Spitfire - I guess I had better explain to everyone! :o)
Unfortunately I don't have a garage to put the car in over winter, nor
can I really afford a second car for winter... so I think it's best for
me to sell this one and then aim to start Spitting again next year.
One thing I should make absolutely clear... is that I still adore our
favourite little British sports car! I've not moved on... and I shall
miss Spitting... but it is purely temporary!
Next year my plan is to find a reasonable (i.e. shabbyish) Mk3 and turn
it in to a racing car so I can start racing the following year... it
will still be road legal and I will get my Spitting that way...
