In the installation procedure for the Ford Type-9 transmission, I'm about to
install the clutch release bearing. The question is, which way does it go?
I expect that the flat side of the bearing faces rearward, and the rounded
side faces the clutch "fingers". However, it is not clear when referring to
a VB catalog or the Haynes manual. Does anyone have experience here?
