Hey Y'all, I have finally decided to yank the engine/gear box to fit a Datson 5-spd tranny. I have been toying with the idea of renting an engine hoist, but at $45 a day, that could mount big, fast. Have any of you played around with the shade-tree mechanic's alternatives: a come-along from the ceiling, a simple pulley from the ceiling, or a pulley from a wooden frame? I'm cheap and I'm looking for ideas. What worked for you? chuck -- Chuck Ciaffone chuckc@ibm.net OR cciaffon@cisco.com |
