Dave,
I replaced all the rubber when I had the car painted.  The only REALLY bad
piece is the one between the quarter window frame and the top of the door.
After a couple of weeks it looked worse than the old stuff.

I don't like my top bow seal either, way too stiff.
Since I bought the rubber pieces years ago, this info might not be useful
since the chinese supplier has probably changed 5 times since then...
