I am restoring my Bugeye from a carcase and some 1967 Midget parts, so
please help with some "how does it fit, where does it go" questions.
I want to install the Midget starter solenoid, using a Midget starter motor
and an aftermarket ignition switch. the solenoid is roughly cube-shaped
with 2.5 inch sides. Looking down on the connector-side, with the
attachment flange on the side furthest away from me pointing down, the
solenoid can be described by the points of the compass (north dead ahead):
The North (large) connector goes to the starter motor +ve???
The East (small) connector goes to the ignition switch start position
(+ve)???
The South (large) connector goes to battery +ve???
The flange earths on the car body where it attaches???
Please confirm or CORRECT these suspicions.
