My local City Council is offering for sale by tender a bunch of abandoned cars.
One is a 1954, split windscreen, 4 door Morris Minor (I think it would have
been the side valve model but a PO has put in what looks like a Datsun
(Nissan) 1200 engine). The car is in not too bad a condition. They have
also installed a power brake servo (probably from the Datsun, and high back
seats (that lay back flat) and inertia reel seat belts).
My question is has anyone got any idea of what in this car might be
interchangable with my Mk2 Sprite?
I guess the headlights, headlight surrounds, a few globes. I don't want to
use the engine, but power brakes might be nice, and my wife would like high
backed seats (she has a bad back).
Any thoughts on the interchangability of these bits , and others eg the
diff, axels anything else?
Any advice welcome.
