Dustin,
earlier 1275s came with a straight pipe and a single muffler. You could
establish whether that is the pipe you have and install a $40 stock
muffler with nice sound.
The cheapest exhaust prices are usually from Special Interest. It might
still be cheaper to get it from Moss through George Merryweather, I am not
sure. They all sell Walker components I think.
Don't mess around with used exhaust parts, they are ridiculously cheap
(but don't last long).
Popping when backing off the throttle is caused by a lean mixture I was
told, and I think leaks in the system along the way contribute too. I get
very pronounced off-throttle noise, but none when shifting.
