Hi gang,

No way in this lifetime could I have made it to Sprite rush, but I
enjoyed all the reports and pictures.

After 2 1/2 years of being laid up for a paint job that was only
supposed to take a couple of months, The '79 came back to life. Primed
the engine and fired her up. Drove around the block four or five times,
laughing hysterically all the way. Many times I thought It would never
get to this point.

Still some things left to do. Put in the new interior and carpet,
finish spiffying up the engine bay, etc. Must first do obeisance at the
temple of air quality to the deities that control smog, and pray that it
passes smog check II, aka California's brilliant scheme to banish lbc's
and other less worthy classics from the thoroughfares.

I had forgotten what it was like to drive it. Never want to be that
long without least riding in an lbc again. Passing the mere mortals on
the road in their soulless point A to point B cars was reward enough.

I will let you all know when the revamped web site is up with the
before and after shots. Thanks for letting me ramble.

'67 Sprite, waiting to be resurrected
