Dave,
There are several aftermarket parts and sheetmetal that are made
with less than desireable specs. As a fellow lister once said "
They never manufactured Spridgets in Sri Lanka or Taiwan or
China. Ask first, protect yourself. Specify British Heritage parts or equal
quality. If you don't your letting the vendor supply anything
he wants. I am aware of some really tinny sheetmetal rockers and sills made
somewhere in the Orient called Tazcar. I think that was
the brand, if not very close. They look great but within 2 yrs after
welding them in they blister and are very soft.
Best advise is ask the vendor, also just because it has a Made in
England sticker, doesn't always mean that.
