Hi All!

        According to Horler:

        1) spring loaded bugeye and Mk II no springs MkIII MkIV
        2) one piece for bugeye, two piece (split in center) MkII up
        3) bugeye and Mk II III hood bow were Cumulus grey

        Mine is painted black and has a machine screw in for one of the spring
locks.  I like black better myself and no one sees the screw.
