Hi list!

Following up on some of the suggestions on my carb problem I found something
interesting.  There is a 2" crack in the exhaust manifold, visible as you
look through down through the intake manifold.  

Some of you suggested that my performance issues might be related to a
constricted exhaust system.  Would a cracked manifold give me similar
symptoms (no top end, black sooty plugs and smoke)?
