Valerie +ACY- Lance,

I am forwarding your message over to the AH Sprite MG Midget list where
there are people who may know what to do with water logged cars and engine
transplants better than I.

Sorry about the delay, my email was not sending until last night (I had to
build a whole new computer)

+AD4-We (my wife and I ) have a 1979 Midget, I brought it for her on our
+AD4-sixteenth aniversy. The Auto was sixteen also. She was under water in a
+AD4-flood before we got her and to make a long store short, rod bearing started
+AD4-knocking. Removed motor and tranny ,garage flooded I did know it and every
+AD4-thing is in a rusted state. Auto has 37k miles on it. We have five children
+AD4-and are of very simple means. What do you think may options are.? I had
+AD4-found a web page that talks about conversions to Toyota engine and tranny.
+AD4-Have you heard of any one doing that and if so do you have a e-mail or
+AD4-sight I could go visit?
+AD4-thanks for your time
