Lots of people have done this in the UK.
There isn't really any advantage in doing so, although there is some debate
about the A+ blocks being stronger.
There is a range of differences and at the end of the day think of the A+ as a
block and then decide what you are going to put in it, internals wise -
because there are a range of compatibility issues.
As far as power goes the A+ is no different for performance tuning than any
other A Series.
