To all,

Team Thicko has grown at an incredible rate (see... I told you tireless
self-promotion was the hot ticket)... it's become something greater than I
could have ever possibly imagined. Membership is up over 150 worldwide. The
Team Thicko website <http://www.thicko.com> is in serious need of an
update... I hope to get to that before the end of March.

I belive we'll have the ability to post an "online catalog" on the TT site,
so folks everywhere can see what we offer. In addition to the usual stuff,
(hats, shirts sweatshirts, jackets) we're offering some pretty unique items
as well. One team member, Danny Nuehaus, makes custome jewelry, and has
produced sterling silver key fobs.... very cool.

Another big hit we cam up with are two new stickers. One, "Cheatin' Dog" is
best applied to a competitors car under the stealth of night. Interestingly
though, some of our "cheatin' dog" members have brazenly sought out the
stickers for application to their own cars. The latest design, "Scared
Shitless" (kind of a twist on those "No Fear" stickers you see...) has
gotten great response.

After a 2 year video hiatus, I intend to take a serious stab at producing
another in the series of Team Thicko videos. All proceeds will again go to a
charity in Geoff Healey's name. I'm enlisting the help of family & crew this
year to function as cameramen at all the races we attend. Obviously, we
can't make then all. If you're racing, or spectating at any vintage races or
autocrosses where a competitor is "flying the colors", we want video. Since
I'm no longer in the video industry, I don't have access to all the
different formats I used to (such as the ability to convert PAL format
without hiring someone... but don't let that stop you European, Aussie and
New Zealand members ... ). My preferred format is NTSC Hi 8mm video,
followed by 8mm, SVHS, and VHS. If you have VHSC, I s'pose I can get an
adapter to playback that format.

Let's document what you as a team member are doing out there. I'll compile
and edit all the footage, and offer the finished product on the website.
team Thicko videos have, in the past, been a highlight at off race season
bench racing partiy's for a nimber of years.

If you think you can contribute, please contact me at wsthompson@thicko.com
so we can begin to work out logistics.

Thank you for all your support. team Thicko is an "inclusive" organization
that stresses the fun aspects of vintage racing and the friendships that
develop from it.
