The two weeks part is not verified and certainly sounds bogus. BUT, did check
with my Congress persons local office...and there is a lobby looking for
sponsors of legislation which would include this language into the bill. I'm
dumb but not stupid. hmmm, looking at my good friends addressed above and
know what your all thinking. Not nice folks!!!!! >>

I'll have to agree with Gary on this one. I wrote my Congressman the first
time around for this Phone Company billing threat. That was several weeks
ago. What was up for a vote at that time was related to third party billing
which is different from logging on to the internet through a local phone No.
He did explain the third party billing part which is quite complicated and
then went on the state that there is a lobby to try to get some more of our
money by billing differently for internet connections. He said there isn't
much support for it at this time but could not guarantee that it wouldn't come
up in future. We can breathe easy for a while but for sure some time in the
future they will figure out a way to get deeper into our pockets.

It definitely doesn't hurt to write your Congressman and let him know that you
are against separate billing for internet usage. The more letters he gets the
more votes he can visualize if he does the right thing when the time comes
along.
