I agree, 

Like the thread some time ago, where we all listed our occupations (Amy the
tatoo artist still out there? Hi), I find this info interesting and
informative.

I think we should make it an open policy to allow a line or two of commercial
in any signature.  Not paragraphs of catalog items, but a short blurb and a
link would only help the e-commerce.

Likewise, I know I do not speak for the list and dont set policy, as I am sure
MJB will remind me.
