Thanks for the info. I gots a couple questions:

1. It keeps on going, but quieter, after the carbs are charged.
   Does not ever seem to stop, just gets quieter. Izzat ok,
   or should it stop when the pressure is reached?

2. If it's a generic "napa" pump, it certainly has no
   identifying feaures -- not even a part number. If I even
   wanted another like it, what would I ask for.

3. Which raises the question of acceptable PSI. Do new "generic"
   fuel pumps come with a stated PSI rating?  I had understood
   that our 1275's needed low pressure, maybe around 3-4 PSI?
