I've been using Mobil One on my tuned 948 bugeye for years and with a 4.55
diff it spends a lot of time at 5500 rpm trying to keep up with traffic.
Hasn't skipped a beat in more than 10,000 miles. The engine builder who put
together the bottom end of my BJ7 swears by Mobil One, also, and he builds
more big blocks for drag racing than Healeys. Claims wear is negligible on
tear-downs. Just be sure to run-in the engine thoroughly before using Mobil
One, otherwise you'll have problems with piston ring sealing.
