I don't have the numbers handy but the UK spec cars kept the larger
speedo and tach untill around 1975. We (yanks) went to the smaller ones
in 1968. Federal spec padded dash for us brought the smaller gauges. It
took the UK untill 75 or 76 to go to a "safty" dash. They were still
using the MKIII (Sprite) metal dash till then.
