You, know, I believe your absolutely right. And it's a great idea to boot.
However, If it's something I REALLY want or need, I will aggressively bid on
it :) Feel free to email me directly also.

My ebay id is: millerb

ok gang here we go. on ebay i am listed as crusader chuck. if you
encounter me bidding on an item that you really need , e mail me directly.
if it is not an item i need and is one of those i want one items , i will
gladly step aside for a fellow lister who really needs one and will stop
bidding it up so you can have a reasonable chance without my mucking it up
for you.

i have thought about this for a while and feel(personally) that it is the
right way to aproach my suporting the comunity wich i am a small
art( unless you weigh me) of. i have seen on other sites serious bidding
wars on ebay. i have had to agressivly bid against other enthusiasts for
some hard but not impossible to find items. i think it is not the way to
buy your want list items that are better found in collections of fellow
listers.

just thought i'd offer my help in this manner.

chuck.
