question #1 i recieved a su carb with a part i am unfamiliar with. it is
a band around the dash pot with a black knob holding down a wire that is
attached to a small loop by another black knob. it has a number stamped on
the dash pot band. su auc 8092. if this is some sort of a ground device
what did it attach to and why was it designed to attach to the carb.? and
what was it's aplication?
question #2 i just recieved a book today as a present from a friend in
california. it is the sprite -mg midget owners handbook of maintence and
repair . published by floyd clymer los angeles copyright 1962. states it
has a special section: increasing power and performance. also includes
factory optional competition accessory list. it is a nifty little book, and
apears to be in good condition. is this book the one that was being
discussed a couple of weeks ago in refrence to the section describing the
drive from sebring to california?
