Hey, Gerard --
This sounded very familiar to me.  No wonder -- there is an article in the
October 1990 issue (page 5) of Austin-Healey Magazine that I just bought from
you entitled "Cooking with Gas".  The article is a book review of "Manifold
Destiny", The One! The Only! Guide to Cooking on Your Car Engine (by Chris
Maynard and Bill Scheller, Villard Books, Random House (New York, 1989).  The
picture accompanying the article shows sausage, potatoes, and onions basking on
the warmth of the Healey 3000 intake manifold.  Mmmmm-mmmmm-GOOD!
