I hate speed bumps!  The locals here who have them in front of their homes
claim to dislike them also.  It increases the noise for them.  Screeching
tires and accelerating engines, not to mention the odd bottoming out sound.
They are also bad for fuel consumption.  I used to let my annoyance be known
by honking my horn everytime I passed over one.  But ... the people who put
them there live too far away to notice.  And eventually, we learn to do as
big brother says.  ( I was going to refer to 'we' as sheep, but given who it
is that I'm replying to, I think not !!! :) )
