Hmmm, let's see - assuming the Spitfires were in reasonable
condition today that's about 2 million. An early Jag (outside
bonnet locks, separate bonnet louvers), let's give that 75K max.

2 mil minus 75K divided by 75K equals a loss ratio fuctor of 26.7

Not counting storage and care and feeding the Spits this is almost
as bad as the Ferrari California Spyder my friend Ted turned down
for 30K in the late eighties - and the vendor called back several
times, begging to be unloaded.
