Bought a 71 Midget this weekend to use as a daily driver while the
Bugeye is undergoing restoration. Needs a few small repairs first, which
means I have a few questions.
1. Does the 71 Midget have a locking steering column. (Nut is missing
off the ignition and keeps falling back in the surround, so its
difficult to tell)
2. The headlights work on highbeam, but not lowbeam. Also, the bottom
halves of th etail lights don't work. Any shortcuts to diagnostics on
this one, or just start tracing it down.
