I can relate to your cell phone analogy. Seeing that I work for The Death
Star.. I mean AT&T, I get asked how does all that work.. etc.  After seeing
far too many glazed over eyeballs, I now answer simply "PFM".  if pressed
further, I'll offer that your car radio is FM and we use PFM, the next step
up. That will usually cause a look of enlightenment and stop the questions.
