It seems tomorrow's "Frostbite 200" will be a solo cruise. Thanks to dear
old Mom's gift of a digital
camera I'll have pictures to post when I get back. I'll try to hit all the
great landmarks, the group of
rusting Tr*****s on the outskirts of Winters, the rotted hulk of an MGA in
the weeds on 'Tandem hill',
and all the squashed 'fire newts' on Honey Hill road, the solo bike riders
out for a cold one, and
all other LBCs encountered.
I hope the faint odor of gas I get whenever I push the boost above 5 lbs
isn't serious. The hose linking
the turbo to the intake manifold is new and clamped very tight and the carb
is dry and clean
on the outside, so...?? After tomorrow's drive it will be better or worse.
Wanna guess which?
