Aluminum pumps are about $30.
Now new bearing and impeller for that old cast iron and some one to do
it has to be more than $30. (I do not know for sure)
Now add the extra weight of the cast iron pump and the choice is
obvious.

Save the cast irons for the concours guys. Don't throw it out, some body
somewhere wants it. Ebay?
