Thread-topic: Will a 1098 head fit on a 1275?
According to Kent, it won't fit.

But, the point was not for performance or
improvment, just trying to use the parts
that I have to get engine put together
quick and put on the road. The 1098 block/1275 head
will cost too much to build right now,
especially when I have a good 1098 head
and a good 1275 block.

I just wanted it on the road with the least
amount of cash outlay.

The "We tight" mentality (if it is what I
think it is.)

Rob,

Yes it will likely fit, but why...?? I read the link text, but this is a
false economy. A major factor in engine performance is the breathing
