Yup, Paul A. and Chuck were right, tapered axle/hub/drum/keyway set-up. As
luck would have it, an old retired mechanic friend of mine came in to work
today and after shooting the bull for a while, I mentioned the Stude to him.
He said they used to take the nut loose and do kittys in the parking lot
until the drums came loose. He loaned me a puller like Chuck's with the
"hammer til loose attachment", worked like a charm. Ain't this list amazing?
