so there i was....
going to welding class,fantasizing about making the ginetta look pretty,
when (all of a sudden) climbing a country road the ole nissan truck lost
power..badly,
and started blowing cold air..out the heater.
i looked down and the temp needle started climbing,,,quickly.
i pulled over. let it cool and checked..no leaks and plenty of water, belts
ok and no water from the water pump..
nursed it home (too late?)
after the daytona weekend i promptly replaced the thermostat.
fired it up...let it run. watched it once again go into the red while
blowing cold air.
but i kept filling it with water..and filling and filling...
filling the oil pan....damn.
so either i find a new engine (hey its a beater and i dont feel like
rebuilding the motor, besides my ginetta rebuild is more important eh?))
or finally buy that vehicle i was looking for earlier this year..
