My personal rule of thumb is rebuild it twice (as long as the bore is
good) then replace it.
They *should* last 5 years after a rebuild.
Use only genuine Lockheed rebuild kits and always Castrol LMA brake
fluid or (sorry allen) silicone dot 5 if you are so inclined.
