Ah, "surface rust" and "just a couple blisters"
Most if not ALL Spridget rust starts on the inside surface and works
it's way to the outside surface.
Door "A" posts always rust out from the inside. It shows up outside as
blisters in the paint.

Don't let this ruin the deal. It could be rust bubbles where metal was
welded in but bondo (brand) or some other talc based plastic filler (aka
sponge) was used.

If the paint is only a year old, get the color code. The rust is an easy
enough fix but your gonna need paint.
