Interesting,
The engine in Bugsy was replaced by P.O. with a 66'
1098 instead of a 1275. Haven't been under there to
check status of header bolts or pipe connectivity but
all seems in order. In other words it's not
excessively loud under the bonnet. Even if header was
leaking with top off and no windows I shouldn't be
smelling fumes. In fact I'm glad I can smell fumes as
CO you can't smell. So even if I succeed in leaning
down the engine I still have a concern why am I
smelling fumes. If exhaust doesn't smell bad anymore
I'm going to still get exposed to CO I just won't know
about it. I'll take the smelly exhaust by choise.
