What do I think, John?
I just dropped $$, having installed a
fresh 1293/5 spd. combo into the 'ole
Frogerooney. The rebuild was tailored
for low-end and midrange utilizing a
3.7. I more than like the sound of the
RC40 rear box. It's the ideal "torquey"
street driver and a blast to drive.
So, I hope the Russian theory on oil is
correct! 'Cause the experience without
that great Series "A" noise signature
simply would not be the same!
On the other hand, my buddy's next car
will definitely be a hybrid. And considering
your lengthy daily commute, I'd certainly
be leaning that way as well, seriously.
