Exactly, Guy!
Most people own guns for protection against crime....at least in my
area.
By the time the police show up it CAN
be a "dead" issue...that's exactly the
problem as a lot of law abiding citizens see it. Especially in the
"sticks" where
burglaries run relatively rampant, today.
Not enough cops, courts and jails to go around...constricted by budget.
And when
the economy gets tough, crime increases.
And the drug trade can pay well. And those who use and who need to
buy....
well...you see where this is going...my
.02 from my perspective re: my little
area of the planet.
