Ahhh...No... 4000+ feet are considered mountains here in New England.

It's true our mountains aren't as tall as the west coast but they are OLDER.

The answer to Bob's dilemma is obvious--an altimeter.  It won't get much 
action in Connecticut, and he would even have a hard time even hurting 
himself with it.  Probably it wouldn't even need to work--Don't they
consider 
600 feet a mountain back there?
