Hello Brad,

       i have the same problem and asked earlier on the list. the
       consensus was that the NUT on the speedo drive INSIDE the
       tranny has come loose. several solutions were offered besides
       taking the tranny apart, the most ingenious being to go in thru
       the place where the cable connects, (where you can actually SEE
       whats going on), taking a punch and a hammer and smacking it to
       in an attempt to get it to "hold". instead, i read the tach and
       do mental calcs to determine mph.
