When you're desperate and in a hurry, certain sizes of pop rivet work fine
after you remove the 'nail'. In an extreme emergency, the little bell
shaped thingy at the bottom of a lamp pull string works too. Pop rivets are
easier to find at the hardware store than the little cord thingies.
