Description:
The selected candidate will perform as a programmer/software engineer.  Job
requirements include:
Participate with other management, programmers, engineers, and developers
and administrative support in the execution of work programs, and review the
requirements, scope, and analysis/design work papers, development of test
plans and procedures, to the extent necessary to ensure work is documented
and completed in accordance with objectives.  Including:
~ Maintain, expedite, and update deliverables and the schedules associated
with all deliverables.
~ Attend program management review meetings and be responsible for software
deliverables, including maintenance and
   updating.
~ Attend programmatic meetings for other programs of record and represent
the team's engineering deliverables and
   schedules.
~ Lead initiatives, including but not limited to determination of services
required, scheduling of tasks, peer reviews, and
   testing of deliverables.
~ Provide consistent and timely communications and reports on the
progression of project tasks and objectives to relevant
   managers.
~ Participate on related systems and program areas in the development of
objectives, scope definition, time estimation,
   and scheduling on analysis and implementation as tasked.
~ Produce technical documents, including design documents, use cases,
programs and test plans and procedures,
   interface specifications, test jigs and fixtures, code and user
interfaces as needed to make the deliverable software
   product which meets the requirements.  Provide supporting documentations
required to management and peers to
   make scheduled deliverables.    Use raw data, informal notes, and
discussions as data sources for document
   preparation and update and refresh data to keep documents current.
Maintain, update, and publish test plants, test
   procedures, and test reports.  Maintain and update schedules for
demonstrations, exercises, concept trials, and delivery
   of systems to labs and platforms.  Maintain documents on the team's
collaboration web site.
7Includes periods of overnight travel.

Qualifications
~ Bachelor's Degree in computer science or software engineering with
programming experinece.
~ Experience with web development, to include Task Force Web or other Portal
services a plus.
~ Experience should include peer evaluation and systems analysis, planning
and design, as well as recent technical development,
   enhancement and implementation experience.
~ Must have significant people skills.  Experience in and proven ability to
work with disparate groups to solve complex problems is
   essential.  Must be able to understand group dynamics.
~ Oral and written communication skills.  Ability to explain technical
operations in easily understood language for non-technical
   personnel.
~ U.S. Citizenship and possess (or ability to obtain) a U.S. Government
Security Clearance required.
