Got my new rollbar and am in the process of installing
it. Small? snag.

I lined up the flanges, visually, checking to be sure
that the two center flanges were as far back as I
could get them and the two side flanges were equally
spaced from the edges of the wheel humps. I drilled
all the holes, put the bolts through the flanges of
the inner supports and find a problem with the
alignment of the outer ones. I did experience some
difficulty drilling the forwardmost hole for each of
the side flanges but it was not until I put the bolts
through and got under the car did I see the problem.
The holes for the bolts are really close to the bend
in the flooring and don't seem to allow for the nuts
(or reinforcing plates) to fit over them. I've
considered redrilling some of the holes(concerned that
that could weaken the floor, getting longer bolts and
shimming the underside of the reinforcing plates to
get more space for the nuts (concerned that that too
might produce a weakened state for the reinforcing
plates) I also thought about trying to push the sides
of the rollbar back a bit, keeping the center plates
in place, but don't think the idea would work since
the bar is really sturdy.

Anybody have a suggestion? Oh, got the rollbar on
ebay(shudder) from a highly rated seller of many parts
in Birmingham Alabama. He is being helpful, but has
not run into this problem before.

any help would be appreciated,
cheers, bill b.
