Kendel....

I do not "know" the ZS carbs but, I have
heard nothing good about them on LBC
car lists. I think the later Spridgefires have these with problematic
"water" autochokes, etc.

If your's needs overhaul, may I suggest
that instead, you look into a conversion back to the SU's that
originally fed these
engines. I believe they are available with
the early HS sets or the later emissions
HIF sets. These gave the 1800cc engine
about 98hp or so, if memory serves me correctly.

Just a suggestion, mind you. If you are happy with the induction system
you have,
so be it!! :)

I know Joe Curto carries these and is an
SU specialist having been in the business
of SU's for God knows how many years.
I hear this guy is even fabricating SU
needles these days!! A real pro when it
comes to this stuff.

I'll send you his website address here in
a moment along with another guy who I
know deals in these as well, in the event
you may be interested in converting back.

There may also be a single large SU carb.
conversion as well...don't know...but they
will! :)
