Okay here is the scoop (scoop of egg on me face) the old points had a nylon
post where the contact wires mounted, the new points have a metal post,
after reading your suggestions, I realized that the nylon washer on the new
points goes thru the grommets of the wires thus insulating them. ITS SO
FREAKIN SIMPLE if you know what your doing lol.
installed em that way and the ting runs great on the new points.
